Logans Run Tv Series - Poetic Mashups

I took an episode from the 1977 Logans Run Tv Series called The Fear Factor and created a couple of poetic mashups.

Lost From Home - Logans Run

I called the first mashup Lost From Home and this tonepoem deals with ideas of authority versus autonomy. The idea, or perhaps warning, was along these lines: a culture based solely on authority and control inevitably loses the ability to produce autonomous individuated citizens until even the loftiest inner circle dullards become so consumed by anxiety over repressed guilt and it's tightening of psycho-pharmaceutical restraints that they themselves no longer have the bravery needed to think independently. Their culture becomes a brain dead super organism in it's final death throes.

Fear Factor - Logans Run

My second mashup from the 1970's tv series logans run. In this tonepoem the emphasis is on the words: #fear #anxiety #purpose, #courage, #menial and #soldier.

The episode asks the perennial and eternally classic question: Can a culture of control become scared stupid? ... surprisingly, the answer is yes ;-O.
